1. What we collect

• Account information: email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider, Supabase; we never see or store your plaintext password).
• Content you submit: reviews, ratings, and flags you create.
• Usage data: basic technical information such as IP address and browser type, collected automatically for security and abuse prevention.

2. How we use it

We use your information to:

• Operate your account and authenticate your sign-ins
• Display your reviews and ratings on coach profiles
• Investigate flagged content and enforce our Review Guidelines
• Improve and secure the Service

3. What's public

Reviews you submit — your ratings, written review, and approximate lesson date — are public and visible to anyone visiting the Service. Your email address is never shown publicly. Reviews are attributed as "Verified Student," not by name or email.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Service providers who host our infrastructure (Supabase, Vercel)
• Law enforcement, if required by valid legal process

5. Data retention

We retain account and review data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us.

6. Your choices

You can update or delete your reviews, or delete your account entirely, by contacting us. You may also request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

7. Cookies

We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in. Tour Rated does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date.
